SHEILA BROWN

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

 

Sheila Brown is QuantiTech’s Founder and Chairman of the Board.  She has led QuantiTech for over 26 years and has created an enduring culture that values and empowers its corporate family members.   She serves on the Board of Directors at Progress Bank & Trust and is a Trustee Emeritus of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.  Ms. Brown has also served on the Boards of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Cummings Research Park, the Arts Council, and is a past-president of the Women’s Economic Development Council.  Ms. Brown holds a BE in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University and completed the Minority Business Executive Program at the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

RANDY CASH

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

 

Randy Cash is the Chief Executive Officer of QuantiTech and is responsible for setting the company’s overall strategic vision and overseeing it’s implementation.   Mr. Cash has more than 30 years of executive management leadership in large, mid-size, and small Federal Government contracting firms providing information, programmatic, and engineering support services to DoD and Civilian Agencies.  Mr. Cash has held Vice President and General Manager positions for both Computer Sciences Corporation’s (CSC’s) Engineering Solutions and Technology (ES&T) Division and SAIC’s Enterprise Solutions Business Unit. During his tenure at CSC and SAIC, Mr. Cash held profit and loss responsibility for over $500M in revenue and was responsible for daily operations providing information technology solutions to multiple DoD and Civilian Agencies, to include NASA.

DARRYL WORTMAN

PRESIDENT

 

Darryl Wortman is the President of QuantiTech and is responsible for leading our Executive Team in the development and execution of QuantiTech strategic plans; executing day-to-day operations; ​growing business; and measuring our performance. Mr. Wortman has been delivering engineering and business services, and winning new business in Government and commercial markets for over 30 years. He has held executive level positions for over 18 years to include Vice President positions at QuantiTech and Wyle-CAS, and Chief Operating Officer at GaN Corporation. Mr. Wortman holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a MBA from the University of Tennessee.

TUCKER BROWN

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
FORCE PROTECTION DIVISION

 

Tucker Brown is the Executive Vice President of the Force Protection Division at QuantiTech.  Mr. Brown has over 30 years of senior technical management experience in Simulation and Analysis of Land Combat Systems; Systems Analysis for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs); Test planning, execution, data reduction, analysis, and operational testing; Systems Engineering; and Program Management.  Mr. Brown also serves as QuantiTech’s PM for the Program Director (PD) Counter Rocket Artillery Mortar (C-RAM) Program Office and manages multiple subcontractors in support of Systems Engineering, Test and Evaluation, IT, Program Management, and Logistics. He served as a Business Unit Vice President at Wyle-CAS, Inc. for 29 years.  Mr. Brown holds a BE in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and a ME in Electrical Engineering, with a concentration in Digital Signal Processing and Control Theory, from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

JOHN DEFOURNEAUX

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

 

John Defourneaux was appointed by the Board of Directors to be the Chief Technical Officer of QuantiTech. He supports the PD C-RAM as the Acting Chief Scientist in the development of the rapid deployment Integrated Force Protection Initiatives in Shape, Sense, Warn, Intercept, and Respond capabilities.  Mr. Defourneaux has led the SETA Systems Engineering and test support efforts for PD C-RAM since 2004 in the planning and conduct of numerous demonstrations at Yuma Proving Ground, selecting viable components, and providing demonstrations of C-RAM System of Systems evolving capabilities, resulting in successful ATEC assessments and follow-on deployment of C-RAM initiatives to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Egypt.  Mr. Defourneaux has also been the Principal Engineer supporting the study of advanced BMC4I concepts for SLAMRAAM and System Concepts supporting Maneuver Force Protection BMC4I.  Previously on the PATRIOT Missile Defense System SETAC Team, he supported the design, development test, and evaluation of changes and upgrades to the PATRIOT Air Defense System Radar. Mr. Defourneaux holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans and a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

RANDY ALLEN

VICE PRESIDENT
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

 

Randy Allen is the Vice President of Business Development of QuantiTech.  Mr. Allen is responsible for the management of corporate business development activities and supports the CEO and President in corporate strategy development. He has over 30 years of experience and is responsible for the management of all activities providing Business and Acquisition Management Support.  Mr. Allen had a 31 year civil service career where he served as a contracting officer and the chief of the PATRIOT and Comanche Major Items contracting offices in the Army’s AMCOM Acquisition Center.  For the last 10 years of his civil service career, he served as the Business Manager of AMRDEC’s Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) supervising the obligation of over $500M in annual funding and the award of multiple contract actions.  He is DAWIA Level III certified in Contracting.  Mr. Allen holds a BS in Management and Procurement from the University of Alabama, Huntsville and a MS in Acquisition and Management from Florida Institute of Technology.

GERALD BURNETT

VICE PRESIDENT
PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL SERVICES DIVISION

 

Gerald Burnett is the Vice President of the Professional & Technical Services Division of QuantiTech and was appointed by the Board of Directors to be the Corporate Ethics Officer.  Mr. Burnett also serves as the TMAS Range Task Order Manager where he has direct responsibility and accountability for the Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) contract with the Air Force at AEDC and Eglin AFB.  Mr. Burnett has over 30 years of experience leading and managing mission-critical services for DoD programs such as US Army PEO Missiles and Space, Army Material Command, Joint Strike Fighter, and the Logistics Support Agency.  Mr. Burnett was a 30+ year executive with Jacobs where he served as a Vice President and Division General Manager of the Information Solutions Group (ISG) which became a significant contributor to organizational growth.  He also served as the General Manager on the highly successful Army Information Technology Support Services contract at Redstone Arsenal for 13 years.  He is a certified PMP, PgMP, and ITIL Expert. Mr. Burnett holds a BS in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University and a MS from the University of Tennessee.

STEVE CASH

VICE PRESIDENT
ADVANCED SPACE SYSTEMS DIVISION

 

Steve Cash is the Vice President of the Advanced Space Systems Division of QuantiTech.  He has over 35 years of experience in Human Space flight and NASA Programs.  After the Space Shuttle Columbia accident, Mr. Cash was named the Manager of the Space Shuttle Propulsion Office and Deputy Program Manager for the Space Shuttle Program.  As the Manager of the Space Shuttle Propulsion Office, he was responsible for an annual budget of $1.5B and ensured the design, development, test, and safe flight of the Space Shuttle propulsion elements.  With the retirement of the Space Shuttle, Mr. Cash was named the Director of the Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) Directorate at the MSFC, where he was responsible for leading the SMA Directorate providing executive guidance, technical resources, and oversight necessary to ensure safe and successful execution of the MSFC programs/projects, and to sustain an industrial safety program that ensures the safety and well-being of the MSFC Contractor and Civil Servant workforce.  Mr. Cash holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.

REESE HAUENSTEIN

VICE PRESIDENT
AVIATION SYSTEMS DIVISION

 

Reese Hauenstein is the Vice President of the Army Aviation Systems Division of QuantiTech.  He has over 23 years of experience leading and managing complex and diverse missions and projects. Mr. Hauenstein serves as the Program Manager for multiple AMCOM OASIS and Express Contracts, responsible for the overall successful execution of contract and project management functions. He also serves as the Utility Helicopters Project Management Office Programmatic Task Order Manager where he has direct responsibility and accountability to ensure effective daily management and scope of control for the task order’s efforts. Mr. Hauenstein is a former Army Aviator and Acquisition Officer.  He is DIAWA level III certified in Program Management, holds a MS in Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and completed the Mid-Level Management School at the Command and General Staff College.  Mr. Hauenstein has over 15 years of Army Acquisition experience serving as: Product Manager, CH47F Improved Cargo Helicopter Product Office; Contracting Officer, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; Contracts Management Officer / Assistant Product Manager, Integrated Air and Missile Defense Project Office and Operations Officer, Non-Standard Rotary Wing Project Office.

ANGIE HELMS

VICE PRESIDENT
BUSINESS OPERATIONS

 

Angie Helms is QuantiTech’s Vice President of Business Operations with responsibility for Finance and Accounting, Project Control, Office Management, and Facilities.  Ms. Helms leads a team of professionals supporting the day to day business operations of QuantiTech and is a key member of QuantiTech’s proposal team.  Prior to QuantiTech, she managed the project control and pricing organization for the MDA business organization at Computer Sciences Corporation. She has over 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting with a focus in Project Control and Pricing.  Ms. Helms holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Athens State University.

MIKE HUBBARD

VICE PRESIDENT
FACILITIES, SITING, ENVIRONMENTAL & SAFETY DIVISION

 

Mike Hubbard is the Vice President of the Facilities, Siting, Environmental & Safety Division of QuantiTech.  He has over 35 years of technical and management experience and is responsible for the Program Management, Execution, and Business Development of Installation Management support, Environmental compliance/restoration, Safety support, and System Deployment/Fielding of assets worldwide.  Mr. Hubbard worked for 33+ years as a DA Civilian Service member managing and directing several of the Army and DoD’s most challenging programs. He directed the USACE Ordnance and Explosives Directorate, MDA’s Worldwide Deployment Program Management Office, and the Army Redstone Arsenal’s Directorate of Public Works/Directorate of Environmental Management and Planning.  Mr. Hubbard holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama, Huntsville.

DEAN HUTSON

VICE PRESIDENT
LOGISTICS ENGINEERING & SUPPORT DIVISION

 

Dean Hutson is the Vice President of the Logistics Engineering & Support Division of Quantitech.  Mr. Hutson is responsible for the management of all activities providing Logistics and Reliability engineering support to customers.  He also serves as the PM for the Army’s Reliability Improvement thru Failure Identification (RIMFIRE) Program – a Failure Reporting and Correct Action System (FRACAS) – for Army Aviation rotary winged aircraft.  Mr. Hutson has over 30 years of Army Aviation related program management and engineering experience gained while working for the Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED), AMRDEC, Westar, QinetiQ North America, and QuantiTech Inc.  He is an ASQ certified reliability engineer (CRE) and a SME on FRACAS Systems, Failure Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.  Mr. Hutson holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Missouri, Rolla.

TERESA ROBERSON

VICE PRESIDENT
CONTRACTS AND COMPLIANCE

 

Teresa Roberson is QuantiTech’s Vice President of Contracts and Compliance with responsibility for Contracting, Procurement, Subcontracting and Security.  She leads a team of dedicated, experienced professionals who ensure QuantiTech is compliant in all aspects of our business functions.  Prior to joining QuantiTech, Ms. Roberson was the Subcontracts Manager overseeing all subcontracting activities at COLSA Corporation. She has over 17 years of government and commercial contracting as well as extensive subcontract management experience.  Ms. Roberson holds a BS in Business Management from Athens State University and a MBA in Acquisition and Contract Management from Strayer University.

JON SHARPE

VICE PRESIDENT
LEE & ASSOCIATES DIVISION

 

Jon Sharpe is the Vice President of the Lee & Associates Division of QuantiTech. He has over 30 years of experience in DoD and Civil Space markets spanning multi-program / multi-function business unit leadership, operations optimization, strategic planning, project and program management, program development, commercial operations, field operations, launch support, manufacturing & production operations, research & development, and test operations. Mr. Sharpe is responsible for leading a team of highly accomplished aerospace industry SMEs focused on providing programmatic and technical support and problem resolution to NASA customers. Mr. Sharpe served as the Huntsville Site Director and Director for Weapon Systems Integration for the Lockheed Martin Missile Systems and Advanced Programs business unit supporting domestic and international missile defense and battle management programs and pursuits. Prior to those roles, Mr. Sharpe served as the lead executive for the Lockheed Martin Civil Space / Human Space Flight – Huntsville Technical Operations business unit supporting NASA Space Shuttle and developmental programs. Mr. Sharpe holds a BS degree in chemical engineering from the University of Alabama, and an MS degree in Engineering Management from Florida Institute of Technology.

JOSEPH SUMMERS

VICE PRESIDENT
CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT

 

Joseph Summers is the Vice President of Corporate Development for QuantiTech. He has 23 years of experience working for the federal government and as a contractor. Mr. Summers was a member of the finance department of the Sessions for Senate Campaign in 1996. Mr. Summers held various staff positions with Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Congressman Bob Riley (R-AL) and Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) from 1997 – 2005. During his tenure in these Members’ offices, Mr. Summers handled legislative, committee and sub-committee responsibilities in the areas of: national security, foreign policy, intelligence, military construction, veterans affairs, space and homeland security. Mr. Summers managed a wide variety of authorization and appropriation matters as Member staff for the Senate Armed Services Committee, House Armed Services Committee and Senate Appropriations Committee (Defense, Foreign Operations and Military Construction Subcommittees). From 2005 – 2018, Mr. Summers has held positions as a Vice President overseeing corporate strategy, development and proposal management for Digital Fusion, Inc. and Integration Innovation, Inc. in Huntsville. Mr. Summers holds a BA and MA in Political Science/International Relations from Auburn University.
