QuantiTech is proud to highlight the achievement of 3 employees who were presented with an award for contributions to safety and emergency preparedness on Redstone Arsenal. Our employees designed and built a wedge barricade that could be quickly and easily installed in emergency situations to prevent the forced entry of swinging doors.
Lt. Col. Roger Kuykendall recognized our employees for “performing in a professional and exemplary manner and for the integral parts they played, as part of the active shooter response team for the Future Vertical Lift office. The procedures that they helped develop led to total preparedness in securing the 2nd floor of 5304, during a potentially serious situation last month.”
